Harvest of the Month connects with core curricula and links the classroom, hands-on learning environments, home and community. Our objective is to bring fresh and seasonal foods into the lives of children. Harvest of the Month fruits and vegetables are featured in the daily lunch menus and prepared in a variety of ways to increase exposure to these healthy foods. Recipes and activities are developed to use the various learning environments to continue to reinforce these healthy connections.
